The Preston Evening Networking meeting was great last night! Online zooms are really bringing us together ❤️

At the meeting we had;


Dawn Elliot from sew confident in Chorley showing people how to sew and teaching people how to use a sewing machine. She’s holding Virtual sewing social on a Sunday evening and Arm knitting class and posting out the massive ball of wool for it. Also doing her bit for the nhs she’s Making scrub headbands for doctors and nurses to protect their ears while wearing masks.


Anne Milne-Riley from the confidence guru. Psychotherapy trained and really loved working on confidence coaching so focusing on that for many years. She works with lots of people across the board from mums getting back to work and needing more confidence to managing directors wanting to improve on confidence to lead their company. Anne has a great book out on amazon called the confidence guru and also offers webinars and one to ones online.


Karen Aldridge, a counsellor for 30 years and mindfulness practitioner. Her route into counselling was after working as a social worker. Started in bereavement counselling working with families then children in schools. Has been in private practice for some years now and very busy. Specialised in trauma sometime ago and offering help and support currently with a pay as you can afford. Based on longridge but currently operating on zoom


Marie Bateson is a declutter and organiser lady. She’s always loved organising and finding places for things. Her company, Cut the Clutter, came about after clearing her mums flat after her going into care and it set off something for her to help others. She found the official body, Association of professional declutterers and organisers and started doing jobs for friends and family then 2.5 years ago she left her full time job and become a professional organiser, not only decluttering but helping you form good habits for you home or office space.


AnnAbel Cookson from pawfect occasions takes dogs to weddings, teaches tricks for at the occasion and trains your dog to be able to take a great photo for the photographer on the day. From a dog training and walking background, Annabel has years of experience and is currently training her own puppy too. Taking bookings for weddings for later in the year or next year. Working to make the day with your dogs pawfect.


Julie Ibrahim dental nurse and utility Warehouse representative helping save money on all the bills. So needed at this time. Taking four of the services you get get free energy saving light bulbs all around the house. If you have a few mins spare she can go through the bills see you’ll save money. The cash back card will take money off your bill


Emma Whalley from Emma’s self care hub based in Higher Walton preston. Offering distance reiki and Angel Card readings online. Emma has a variety of angel decks including moon, Crystal and dragon cards. Currently doing a card of the day on her page for her audience to get free daily guidance and uplifting inspiration right now.

We’re getting some great feedback about the online meetings and how they are helping people so it’s so heartwarming to hear that and may long continue with our fantastic community in this group At the online Preston meeting in the evening last week we had Anne Millne-Riley from awareness coaching, Confidence Guru . Fantastic Therapist, Confidence and business coach. Working online via Zoom. I really lovely lady that is easy to talk to, also with a fantastic book out on Amazon called the confidence guru. And has recently set up a helpful group on Facebook called the resilience group where she is helping people through this time. Joanne Walls from The Alternative Florist. PE teacher and mum of two boys Joanne has always been into crafts and physical activities. She made her own wedding bouquet from felt and buttons, which was amazing. Now Joanne is making bouquets hair clips, easter decorations and lots of creative things from felt. Julie Uw Ibrahim Saves us money on our bills for gas, electric, Phone, Mobile, broadband, boiler cover plus cashback on online shopping. A fantastic service for us right now as I think we all need to save money where we can. Julie misses tea and cake with her customers however it’s now offering online consultations to help more people. Gemma Whewell has two businesses are very creative and lovely lady. Working at loft in Fulwood offering precious stone facials and massages with Himalayan salt rocks with holistic_beauty_with_gem Plus a really pretty creative talent in making Macrame for cream catchers, pot plant hangers and bouquet holders at minimalist_macrame both on Instagram Marie Bateson from cut the clutter. Fantastic to know this woman for clearing the clutter in bedrooms, Dining rooms, in your office, paperwork, any hoarding that you have! she is currently looking at workshops live so watch this space to help you during lockdown. Claire Justice Is a nurse working for the NHS in Bolton in critical care. We sincerely thanked Claire on the zoom meeting for doing her work as we completely appreciate every day she is working and her courageous team. Claire also runs a Aesthetics business called JUST Aesthetics in Croston, offering injectable which look beautiful and natural. Also in Bond in Preston and other salons in Wigan and Maudsley. Rach Alice our friendly Forever Living rep who is a mummy of 2, one being a cute newborn. Working in social work and wanting to spend more time with her family she now is doing fantastic with aloe Vera products for healthy living for skincare, supplements, household products and bee products. Ceri Keighley from Tropic Skincare with Ceri. On maturity leave with her little boy currently, Ceri looked for ages for good skincare and finally found great products that work with Tropic. She’s doing great and offers virtual pampers online.

What a great start to the week at our Preston meeting Networking yesterday morning! It was absolutely packed with Gossip Gals bubbling with conversation and friendly support.

Annabel Cookson from Pawfect Occasions - Wedding Dog Chaperone. Annabel used to be a dog walker for years and now runs a business taking couples’ dogs to their weddings! She will get to know your dog beforehand to make sure they are comfortable and will also help with the photographs.

Caroline Melody Blake from Caroline Bakes Cakes UK. A lawyer for 25 years, Caroline now works with her husband baking cakes and protein balls, which can be sent out to you in the post. Delicious samples shared!


Emma Louise an experienced and busy beauty and holistic therapist offering every service from mindfulness workshops to nail, massage to reflexology. Also now a qualified beauty and reiki teacher.

Gail Kelly from On A Carousel 🎠 who makes bespoke, heirloom and memorial jewellery – making your old jewellery into something incredible.

Nikki Sneddon from Ribble Therapy who offers sports massage from her treatment room at home in Walton-le-Dale. Nikki has a background in fitness and helps clients in pain.

Sarah Harris - a colour and style consultant. A former fashion model, Sarah can help with advice on colours, clothing style, make-up and skincare, as well as wardrobe declutters.

Sylvia Lancaster – a children’s author and storyteller, with two books published so far. Adventures in Twinkle Town available from Amazon, including Pixie Poo poo book that I bought for Jacob on the day!

Vicky Lindsay fully trained in Sound Healing, helping with rebalancing energy. At the start of her business journey offering 1:1 healing and group sound baths.

Emma Whalley from Emma’s Self Care Hub, based in Preston providing Wraps, Reiki and Angel Card Reading for mind body and soul self-care. Angel parties are also available for 4-6 people at your home.
